One of Biloxi Public Schools oldest elementary schools, the campus of Jeff Davis Elementary was in great need of improvements. This elementary campus services children that live on base housing for Keesler Air Force Base. This project was critical to keep military families that are so important to Biloxi community happy with their children’s educational system. The scope of work for M|P included a complete renovation of the existing playground. This work included detailed survey of existing trees and root systems so that they could be worked around. A retaining wall was installed to eliminate some erosion on the North side of the playground. New playground equipment, basketball goal, exercise station and covered walkway were part of the project as well. Lastly, the project included a new entrance to administration offices for the school and new bus drop at the west entrance to the school.
