The project included replacing the existing Public Works and Vehicle Maintenance buildings damage during Hurricane Katrina and combining all public works facilities into one location/complex. The project was performed in phases to allow the public works to fully operate. The project consisted of the demolition of the two existing occupied buildings and the design and phased construction of a 60,000 sqft. SF Public Works complex. The complex is made up of four structures. a two story steel, metal stud infill with brick facade public works administration building; a single story, metal building structure with brick facade warehouse facility; a single story, metal building structure with brick facade vehicle maintenance facility; and a single story metal building structure with brick facade shop facility. This was finished in 2015. M|P performed the electrical engineering on the project under the supervision of Brad Patano.
